Eating dairy products like cheese before going to sleep may cause nightmares, according to a study published in Frontiers in Psychology. For this, researchers surveyed over 1,000 university students. "Nightmare severity is robustly associated with lactose intolerance and other food allergies...[Therefore,] changing eating habits...could alleviate nightmares," the lead author said.
