Researchers found that high consumption of ultra-processed foods (UPFs) is linked to increased risk of lung cancer, according to study published in Thorax. The study tracked health and dietary habits of over 100,000 adults, dividing them into four groups based on their UPF intake. Those in highest group were 41% more likely to develop lung cancer than those in lowest.
