Election Commission announced that Rajya Sabha elections for four Jammu and Kashmir seats and one Punjab seat will be held on October 24, 2025. J&K seats have remained vacant since 2021 due to the absence of Assembly, while Punjab seat became vacant on July 1, after AAP MP Sanjeev Arora resigned. Voting will run from 9 am to 4 pm.
