The Election Commission has announced the schedule for the Vice-Presidential Election 2025. Nominations close on August 21, scrutiny is on August 22, withdrawal ends August 25, and polling (if needed) is on September 9. Shri PC Mody, Secretary-General of the Rajya Sabha, has been appointed as the Returning Officer for the election.
