ECI reacted after Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge claimed, citing a newspaper advertisement, that ECI amended the process of voter verification from requiring documents to only filling out form without any documents in Bihar. Calling it "misleading", ECI said there was no change in instructions of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) being carried out in the state ahead of the assembly elections.
