The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday announced that the remuneration of BLO Supervisors has been increased from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000. The announcement comes ahead of the upcoming Bihar Elections, scheduled later this year. The remuneration of Booth Level officers (BLOs) has also been increased. The last payment revision was done in 2015 by the ECI.
