Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar on Monday spoke over the ongoing criticism by opposition parties around Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. Election Commission will actively counter "false claims" and "misleading" information around SIR through fact-checks on its official social media handle, he said. The ECI also shared a progress update on SIR.
