IFS officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi has blown the lid off an eco-tourism scam in Uttarakhand involving illegal eco-hut constructions and fake fire line works. The Probe spoke to Dr Vinay Kumar Bhargav, the officer allegedly involved in the scam, who denied wrongdoing and claimed approvals were in place. However, he did not provide any documentary evidence to back his elaborate defence.
