Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched raids at seven locations in Chennai linked to Sresan Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Coldrif cough syrup allegedly connected to the deaths of at least 20 children, as part of a money laundering probe. Raids were also conducted at residences of top officials of Tamil Nadu Drug Control Office. Earlier, G Ranganathan, the company’s owner, was arrested.
