British singer Ed Sheeran called Shillong his favourite Indian city during a “Spin the Wheel” segment. He earlier performed there on Feb 12, praising fans as the loudest. Shillong also features in 27 shots of his “Sapphire” music video. In the video, Sheeran is seen sipping tea and playing football with kids, his bond with Shillong is deep and heartfelt.
