From 2026, CBSE will conduct Class 10 board exams twice annually. The first exam in February is mandatory, while the second in May is optional for improvement. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan called it a "laudable and much-needed step" to reduce stress. The best score will be counted, aligning with NEP 2020's student-centric approach.
