Authorities in Srinagar on Saturday did not allow Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the Eidgah ground and the Jama Masjid. The release by Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid stated that mosque's gates were closed, and police were deployed outside. Expressing disappointment over the restrictions, Omar Abdullah said, "Don't know the basis of these decisions, but we need to learn to trust our people."
