Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, in his keynote address at the Stockholm Conference on Electoral Integrity, said the preparation of electoral rolls in India is one of the world's most rigorous and transparent exercises. He added the rolls are shared with the recognised national and state political parties who are then allowed to make claims, raise objections, and file appeals.
