Ganpati Visarjan in Mumbai turned into a scene of grief on September 7, when a fatal electrocution incident claimed the life of one devotee and left five others hospitalised. As the Ganesh idol was being carried by devotees, a live electric wire that was hanging low accidentally touched it. Six people near the idol were electrocuted.
