Emcure Pharmaceuticals gained nearly five percent after acquiring the remaining 20.42 percent stake in Zuventus Healthcare for ₹724.9 crore, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary. Before the acquisition, Emcure held 79.58 percent in Zuventus. The subsidiary is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of pharmaceutical medicaments.
