Hollywood actors Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo, along with over 1,300 professionals, pledged to boycott Israeli film institutions over alleged part in genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. In response, Israeli Producers Association argued Israeli artists and creators have been "primary voices" in exploring complex conflict, including Palestinian narratives and criticism of Israeli policies.
