A court in China has granted compensation of 118,779 yuan (nearly ₹15 lakh) to an employee who was fired by his company for allegedly lying about his condition while taking sick leave for foot pain, South China Morning Post reported. The company reportedly presented data showing the employee walked over 16,000 steps on the day he applied for leave.
