Endometriosis increases a woman's risk of developing ovarian cancer, especially certain rare types like endometrioid and clear cell ovarian cancer, explained healthcare expert Dr Neha Singh. Although the overall risk remains low, studies show that women with endometriosis have a slightly higher chance compared to those without the condition, she added.
