Gauri and Dilip Parab, software engineers with L&T Infotech, quit their jobs and began organic lemongrass farming in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, in 2021. They process it to extract lemongrass oil sold in retail and wholesale. They also prepare soap and floor cleaner, available online and through their factory outlet. Their annual turnover was ₹30 lakh in the last fiscal year.
