An engineer, identified as Humayun Kabir, allegedly murdered his elderly parents and later stabbed four people at an orphanage in West Bengal. Humayun, who returned to his home after he lost his job in Noida, reportedly consumed jihadi material online and was looking to flee to Bangladesh. His parents had urged his sister to "bring him back to his senses".
