During an event in Delhi on Friday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that engines for 5th-generation fighter jets will be made in India in collaboration with French aerospace company Safran. He added that India's efforts to create defence industrial corridors in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are attracting major investments and acting as growth drivers for the defence sector.
