England's declining birthrate might lead to the closure of 800 primary schools by 2029, stated a new study by the Education Policy Institute. It also indicated an estimated 4% drop (1,62,000 primary students) in numbers over the next five years. With a constant decline since 2018, the highest decline has been pinpointed to London.
