The government has ratified the rate of interest on employees' provident fund at 8.25% for FY25. The ratification allows the retirement fund body to initiate the process of crediting the approved interest into the EPF accounts of its members. The EPFO had decided to increase the rate to 8.25% in 2023-24, up from the 8.15% in 2022-23.
