The European Union (EU) needs to reconsider sanctions against Russia over the Ukraine war as they are keeping energy prices elevated, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday. "Energy prices need to be lowered by all means...Under the current sanctions policy, energy prices won't go lower," he added. Orban further said the sanctions are restricting the bloc's economic competitiveness.
