European Union has imposed sanctions on India's Nayara Energy's Vadinar refinery, India's second-largest single-site oil refinery, as part of its 18th sanctions package against Russia, EU VP Kaja Kallas announced. Russian state-owned Rosneft owns a 49% stake in the refinery. The new sanctions package has also banned Nord Stream pipelines, which provide natural gas to Western Europe.
