European Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic said the automotive sector should be central to the India-EU partnership, highlighting Europe's engineering expertise and India's manufacturing strength. Speaking in New Delhi, he stressed the benefits of an FTA, citing job creation, advanced technologies, and sustainability. The pact is expected to be finalised before the end of 2025.
