Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused European leaders of pressuring International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi into releasing a report accusing Iran of violating the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Lavrov said that Europeans "bear a share of the blame" for Israel's attack on Iran. "The Europeans have taken a purely neocolonial position," he added.
