European countries are ready to "literally sacrifice" Ukraine to prevent any improvement in ties between US and Russia, said former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter. "There's a tremendous amount of opposition inside US and Europe to prevent [US President] Donald Trump from having better relations with Russia," said Ritter. "They are destroying the genetic pool of Ukraine," he added.
