Former MLA Kapchen Rajkumar was trampled to death by a wild elephant while walking near Namsang in Arunachal Pradesh. The 65-year-old leader served Tirap’s Khonsa North from 1985–1990. CM Pema Khandu condoled his death and assured ex-gratia. Rajkumar, a respected politician and trained pilot, will be laid to rest in his native village, Namsang.
