Transferred Ballia District Magistrate (DM) Praveen Kumar Laxkar has reportedly refused to vacate the official residence, leaving his successor, Mangla Prasad Singh, without proper accommodation. Singh, who has formally assumed charge as the new Ballia DM, is currently operating from the Dak Bungalow, a public office, as per News18. Officials are in talks to resolve the matter at the earliest.
