Former Bangladesh Prime Minister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia will contest the upcoming general election in the country, BNP's Vice Chairman said. He stated that Zia is in good health and the election may be held before February. Zia was released from house arrest after the ouster of former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina in August last year.
