Kotdwar court in Uttarakhand on Friday sentenced three people convicted of murdering Ankita Bhandari, to life imprisonment. Former BJP leader Vinod Arya's son Pulkit along with Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta was found guilty of killing the 19-year-old in 2022. Bhandari's parents were awarded a compensation of ₹4 lakh by the court and fines were imposed on the convicts.
