Dr Syed Liaquat Ali Shah, the son of former Sindh CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah, was declared dead by the Sindh Health Department despite him being alive. Shah is currently serving at a government ophthalmology hospital. His death certificate was also provided to a court during a hearing of a case related to a recruitment order.
