Former Jharkhand minister Krishna Nand Tripathi has been booked after a Dalit police constable in his personal security detail accused him of slapping him after the latter allegedly couldn't clear a traffic jam. The policeman alleged the former Congress minister hurled abuses at him, calling him an "adivasi" and a "harijan". Tripathi refuted the allegations.
