Dr. Arjun Arunachalam, ex-IIT Bombay professor and GE researcher, left his US career to make MRI scans affordable in India. Despite industry pushback, he founded Voxelgrids in 2017. With support from Social Alpha and Zoho's Sridhar Vembu, his startup built India's lightweight, homegrown MRI scanner aimed at bridging rural healthcare gaps.
