Former NCB officer Sameer Wankhede filed a defamation suit against Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix against his representation in Aryan Khan's directorial 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood'. He sought ₹2 crore in damages. Sameer had arrested Aryan for allegedly possessing drugs in 2021. The series shows an officer, inspired by Wankhede, looking for "Bollywood people doing drugs".
