Demanding the release of ex-Pakistan PM Imran Khan, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has informally launched "Free Imran Khan Movement" from Lahore. Police have made several arrests to stop party workers from joining the protest, party said. Khan has been behind bars since August 2023 after he was booked in multiple cases, ranging from leaking state secrets to selling state gifts.
