Former Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said India is playing against Pakistan in upcoming Asia Cup match because it becomes a "necessity for nations to participate" if it's an ACC or ICC multinational tournament. He said otherwise India will have to forfeit and points will automatically go to the other team. He clarified that India doesn't play bilateral tournaments with Pakistan.
