Former Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank's daughter Aarushi accused a film producer couple Mansi and Varun Bagla of cheating her of ₹4 crore on the promise of a movie role and 20% profit returns. The Himshrri Films owner claimed the couple later said someone else was selected for the movie, which featured actor Vikrant Massey, and threatened to kill her.
