Ex-K-Pop star Daud Kim dropped his plan to construct a mosque in South Korea's Incheon after he received backlash over it by residents who feared that the move would lower local property prices. Kim had sought monetary assistance from fans. Kim, who converted to Islam in 2020, was also accused of mishandling funds from a previous mosque project in Daegu.
