Exoplanet up to 10 times larger than Jupiter discovered

Astronomers have detected a giant exoplanet, between three and ten times the size of Jupiter, hidden in the swirling disc of gas and dust surrounding a young star, MP Mus. Researchers used advanced data from the ALMA observatory and ESA's Gaia mission. Earlier observations had suggested MP Mus was alone, surrounded by a featureless cloud with no planets in orbit.
