Tomy Thomas, husband of 37-year-old nurse Nimisha Priya set to be executed in Yemen on July 16 for a 2018 murder conviction, expressed hope for positive response from government, citing ongoing efforts by authorities. Thomas met Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar recently, who offered support to Nimisha's mother through video conferencing. He also said he is in touch with Nimisha.
