Expert reveals what sleep paralysis is and how to avoid it

Sleep specialist Dr Manvir Bhatia explained that sleep paralysis occurs when the brain wakes up before the body does. She added that the temporary immobility can feel terrifying but lasts only for a short duration. Dr Bhatia further said that better sleep schedules and lower stress can help reduce such incidents.
