Global terror financing watchdog FATF noted that in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, which killed 40 CRPF personnel, aluminium powder used in the explosive device was bought from EPOM Amazon. It said this while flagging the misuse of online payment services, VPNs and e-commerce platforms in such attacks. It also flagged VPN and online payments use in Gorakhnath Temple attack.
