Indian exporters will meet RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra on September 11 to seek relief from 50% US tariffs, NDTV Profit reported. They seek easier loan repayment norms and waiver of penal interest. The tariffs make Indian goods uncompetitive compared to other Asian manufacturers like Vietnam, South Korea and Bangladesh, and hurt labour-intensive sectors like textiles, footwear and jewellery.
