Extreme heat could raise death risk for pet dogs by 10%: Study

A study by the University of New South Wales has revealed that extreme heat (above 32°C temperature) can increase the risk of death in pet dogs by nearly 10%. The study stated that Sundays and public holidays carry the greatest risk for dogs, with death risk increasing by 155%. The highest death rates occur on New Year’s Day.
