Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami called the stampede at Haridwar's Mansa Devi temple extremely distressing. "I pray to Mata Rani for the safety and well-being of all devotees," he wrote on X. At least six people were killed and over 30 were injured after the stampede broke out, reportedly due to the rumour of an electric shock.
