Formula 1 will revamp its qualifying format from the 2026 season as Cadillac joins as the 11th team on the grid. Starting next year, six drivers will be eliminated in both Q1 and Q2, instead of five each. The change will ensure that 10 drivers will advance to Q3 to compete for pole position.
