Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant claimed Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis sent out a message to deputy CM Eknath Shinde by saying that he'd occupy CM post till 2029. "It's an indirect message to those eyeing CM's post," he added. When asked about his role in national politics, Fadnavis told reporters "Delhi is still far away" and he'd continue as Maharashtra CM.
