A 31-year-old man was arrested by Gurugram Police for allegedly posing as an IAS officer. Class 12 pass Jai Pathak allegedly extorted money by promising jobs and facilitating transfers. A fake arms licence, a car falsely marked under Government of India (GoI), two ID cards, ID card lanyard marked 'Ministry of Home Affairs', ₹2.5 lakh cash were found with him.
